Hi. I’m Bruce Klett. I first understood and believed the gospel as a 6th grader during a Sunday school class in a small Baptist church in Boise, Idaho.  I met my wife Sue at Cedarville College in Ohio. After college and marriage, we lived in Columbus Ohio where I served as an assistant pastor at Clintonville Baptist Church. Sensing the need for further training, we moved to Dallas, TX where I studied at Dallas Theological Seminary. After serving part-time in Lake Highlands Bible Fellowship Church, Sue and I moved to Strawberry Point in July of 1981 where I serve as the pastor/teacher of Community Bible Church. God has blessed us with 5 children (now grown and on their own) and a currently growing number of grandchildren.

Gale Severson

Gale & Elaine Severson are charter members of Community Bible Church (1976).  The Seversons have four grown children and currently live in the rural Strawberry Point area.  Gale is a retired high school guidance counselor, spending most of his time at Starmont Schools.

Ray Gienapp

My name is Ray Gienapp and I was saved in 1958 after graduating from high school.  I then went to Multnomah School of the Bible for 2 1/2 years before joining the Air Force for four years.  I met and married my wife, Eunice, in 1967. We have two grown children and two grown grandchildren.  We have raised beef breeding stock most of our lives.  We sold the cattle and retired from farming in 2014, and now live on an acreage north east of Strawberry Point.  I still do maintenance one day a week at an Assisted Living Facility.  I was part of the group that started CBC in 1976 and later became one of the first two elders.

Bill Knight

My name is Bill Knight and my wife's name is Lorri. I grew up in the Strawberry point area and Lorri grew up in Wadena. Together we have lived and farmed near Strawberry point and have been blessed with three children and a growing amount of grandkids. The Lord gave us the understanding of the gospel in 1999 and we were drawn to the Community Bible Church in 2000 for fellowship and further understanding of His word. Lorri and I continue to farm in the Strawberry Point area and enjoy all the Lord has blessed us with.

Mark Wynthein

Mark has lived in Arlington, Iowa, since 1973, when his family moved their farming operation from St. Charles, Illinois, to Arlington.  He met Patti (from Hampton, Iowa) while attending Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota.  They were married in 1981.  In 1982, they returned to Arlington where they have continue to farm to the present.  They are blessed with three grown children, one granddaughter, and excitedly await additional grandbabies!  Mark and Patti both trusted Christ as their Savior at a young age and have been attending CBC since 1984.

Bill Baerg

Hi, I’m Bill Baerg and my wife's name is Jeanne. I grew up in Chilliwack, B.C. Canada in a Christian family and was saved at the age of nine. Jeanne and I met in Texas at a Bible school and were married in 1986. We have six children and live on a farm in the Stanley area raising multiple types of livestock and growing corn and soybeans. We have been involved at CBC since 1996.

Jerry Miller

My name is Jerry Miller. My wife Sharon and I have lived on an acreage near Manchester since 1989. We both came to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in 2000 when we were invited to attend gospel meetings in Manchester. We have 2 grown children and eight grandchildren. We both work factory jobs and enjoy all the things we are blessed with. We have been members of CBC since 2002.

Mike Franzen

My name is Mike Franzen. I grew up on a farm north west of Arlington where we continue to farm today. I married my wife Annette in 1988. We have 4 wonderful grown sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law and one sweet-sweet granddaughter. God saved me in 1999 while attending some gospel meetings. In 2000 we began attending C.B.C. and thank God for our new family of brothers and sisters in Christ. God continues to bless us abundantly every day.
