Pastor/Teacher

Bruce Klett

Hi. I’m Bruce Klett. I first understood and believed the gospel as a 6th grader during a Sunday school class in a small Baptist church in Boise, Idaho. I met my wife Sue at Cedarville College in Ohio. After college and marriage, we lived in Columbus, OH where I served as an assistant pastor at Clintonville Baptist church. Sensing the need for further training, we moved to Dallas, TX where I studied at Dallas Theological Seminary. After serving part-time in Lake Highlands Bible Fellowship Church, Sue and I moved to Strawberry Point in July of 1981 where I serve as the pastor/teacher of Community Bible Church. God has blessed us with 5 children (now grown and on their own) and a currently growing number of grandchildren.

Elder

Ray Gienapp

My name is Ray Gienapp and I was saved in 1958 after graduating from high school.  I then went to Multnomah School of the Bible for 2 1/2 years before joining the Air Force for four years.  I met and married my wife, Eunice, in 1967.  We have two grown children, two grown grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.  We have raised beef breeding stock most of our lives.  We sold the cattle and retired from farming in 2014, and now live on an acreage north east of Strawberry Point.  I was part of the group that started CBC in 1975 and became one of the first two elders.

Elder

Bill Knight

My name is Bill Knight and my wife’s name is Lorri. I grew up in the Strawberry Point area and Lorri grew up in Wadena. Together we have lived and farmed near Strawberry Point and have been blessed with three children and a growing amount of grandkids. The Lord gave us the understanding of the gospel in 1999 and we were drawn to the Community bible Church in 2000 for fellowship and further understanding of His word. Lorri and I continue to farm in the Strawberry Point area and enjoy all the Lord has blessed us with.

Elder

Mark Wynthein

Hi!  I’m Mark Wynthein and I met my wife, Patti, at Northwestern College, in Roseville, MN, (now University of Northwestern) in 1979 and we were married in 1981.  In 1982, we made our home in my home town of Arlington, Iowa, where we began our farming career which continues to the present.  We have been blessed with three married children and eight precious grandchildren ~ with more to come, Lord willing.

Patti and I both trusted Christ as our personal Savior at a young age.  In 1984, we started attending CBC and have been actively involved ever since.  We really appreciate the closeness of our Community Bible Church family, the solid Bible teaching we receive, and the emphasis that is put on Bible study to help us personally grow and to equip us to better serve, worship, and bring glory to God.

Kyle Feldmann

Hi I'm Kyle Feldmann, my wife Allison and I married in 2014 and currently have 3 boys. I professed to know Jesus as my personal savior at a young age and have attended CBC for many years now. We live near Strawberry Point, I am a truck driver hauling fuel. My wife is a teacher but currently staying home with our young children.

Deacon

John Franzen

I was raised by my loving parents along with three brothers on a farm outside of Arlington.  My family started attending CBC when i was early middle school age after my dad was saved while attending Gospel Hall meetings.  I was saved in my later middle school years after realizing there was nothing "I" could do to be saved but rather "He" had already done it all.  My wife Rebeka and our four children now attend CBC.  I farm beef cattle, alfalfa, soybeans and corn, and also do construction/carpentry work.  My wife works part time at a dental office and cares for our children at our home outside of Arlington.

Deacon

Chris Gelner

My name is Chris Gelner and I married the love of my life, Meg, in 2004. We met while attending UNI. We both grew up in Iowa, but the Lord brought us to Strawberry Point in 2013. We found a home at Community Bible Church a couple of years later. We have been blessed with three amazing children - Noah, Benjamin, and Lillian. We have been followers of Jesus for many years and were baptized as believers in 2019. I work for the Department of Natural Resources. Meg and I live on an acreage NE of Strawberry Point and love the life God has given us. I am honored to serve the CBC family in this capacity.
